Chief Information Officer
Tim Dickson has served as our Chief Information Officer since August 2020. Prior to Generac, from 2018 Mr. Dickson was Vice President of Digital Business Platforms at Laureate Education, a $5Bglobal enterprise consisting of 65 international university institutions. Mr. Dickson previously served as the Vice President of Front Office IT at Motorola Solutions from 2015-2018, and additionally served as a divisional CIO leading Emerging Technologies, M&A, and User Experience for Dell, Inc from 2004-2015. Mr. Dickson holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University where he Graduated with Distinction in 1992 and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000.

Greg Levenhagen is a Principal Consultant with CoreBTS, a Microsoft Regional Director (RD) and a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). He has a great passion for giving back to the community and teaching. A true enthusiast of computer science, with passions and interests including AR/MR/VR, AI, IoT, mobile, UX, architecture, distributed computing, automated testing, web, agile, 3D/games, cloud, languages and much more! Greg speaks at conferences like ThatConference, CodeMash, VSLive and Code PaLOUsa.

Katie Hermann - Dustin SchimekKatie Hermann – Senior Director of Advanced Analytics

Katie is Senior Director of Advanced Analytics at The Master Lock Company in Milwaukee, WI, and has worked for other great Midwest household brand names prior to joining Master Lock in 2017.  In her current role, Katie leads teams working to implement data-driven, win-win recommendations that benefit TMLC’s customers, employees, shareholders and partners across their North American retail and commercial customer base.  Katie holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Illinois Wesleyan University. She lives in Whitefish Bay with her husband, Chris, and their three girls.

Dustin Schimek – Director of Strategy & Analytics

Dustin is the Director of Strategy & Analytics at The Master Lock Company in Milwaukee, WI.  He has held multiple positions within Master Lock throughout their journey to becoming data-driven.  His current role focuses on identifying and implementing analytics projects that will enable growth both short and long-term.  An MBA graduate of UWM, Dustin resides in Wauwatosa with his wife and kids.  He enjoys being an active member of the greater “data community” online and in-person!

Dave Marek – Director of Infrastructure Services at MGIC

Dave Marek joined MGIC in 2020 as Infrastructure Services Director to help drive adoption to the cloud thru improving the process, technology and people.  One of Dave’s biggest strengths is helping build talent to be ready to support the future of the organizations.

Previously, Dave held leadership positions at American Family (Director of Engineering and Planning) and Mattel (Senior Manager, Global IT). His focus has been transformational efforts across multiple business and IT organizations.  Driving business value thru automation and agile methodologies is an important part of Dave’s beliefs to truly transform people and organizations.

Dave’s background is spread across Engineering, Data Center, Core Infrastructure and Financial Systems. He brings a unique balance of IT and Business background that bridges the gap between the two.

Dave earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting from Northern Illinois & Graduate degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration from Creighton University.  Additionally, Dave has earned certifications around Cloud, Agile and Technology.

 

Eric Hanson – Global VP of IT at Husco International

Eric Hanson is a relational, results-oriented senior executive with a track-record of improving business results across manufacturing, financial services, and insurance industries. Mr. Hanson is currently the Global Vice President of Information Technology for Husco International, a global innovator and manufacturer.

Eric serves as an advisory board member for Marquette University’s Business Analytics Program and is co-chair of the Evanta Milwaukee CIO and United Way, Technology United communities.

In his personal time, Mr. Hanson enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, continuous learning, and coaching youth sports.

 

Erin Allen – Director of IT Strategy & Architecture

Erin Allen is the Director of IT Strategy & Architecture at Sargento Foods Inc. Her team is responsible for technology innovation and working with business leaders in roadmap development that uses technology to accomplish business objectives.

Erin has more than 20 years in software development, IT practices, and digital strategy leadership. She has worked in several industries including technology, consumer product goods, automotive, and financial services and many Wisconsin companies like Harley-Davidson, Baird, and Miller Brewing Company (now known as Molson Coors Beverage Company).

 

Mike Nelson – SVP, Director of IT Operations

Mike leads Baird’s IT Operations department.  Mike joined Baird in 2011 and has held various leadership roles in IT.  In his current role Mike is responsible for Baird’s Infrastructure and IT Operations staff. Mike focuses on risk mitigation, talent development, and business alignment across multiple technology disciplines (Enterprise projects, cybersecurity technology, data centers, etc.).

Prior to joining Robert W. Baird Mike held multiple leadership positions at Kerry Ingredients (global food manufacturer), Newell Rubbermaid (consumer products), John Deere (agriculture), United Technologies (aerospace) and CSC (IT outsourcing)

Mike’s broad and varied background encompassing many different IT functions, regulated business sectors, and geographies allows him to have a passion for talent management & team dynamics.

Mike earned bachelor’s degrees in computer science & mathematics from Augustana College.  In addition, Mike serves on the IT Advisory Board for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
