WTA COVID-19 Communication/Response
For WTA, our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our members, board members, sponsors and our community. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, many have taken numerous precautions for health and safety, including postponing events such as our monthly WTA sessions.
In response to the initial World Health Organization and CDC guidelines, WTA moved our sessions to a virtual format. However our Board Members, Sponsors and Members have discussed the idea of going “live” for our August 20th event. We are working with the Brookfield Conference Center (BCC), a brand new facility, and will be delivering a comfortable environment that supports all of the necessary precautions for a “live” event. We will continue to provide a virtual avenue for you to participate should that be your choice. Participating in person is your choice. WTA will work with the BCC to have the appropriate measures in place but ultimately you are responsible for your decision.
This August event is already shaping up to be a very well attended session thanks to the content and the parties that will be delivering it. We don’t have final numbers for the facility, but space will be limited.
On behalf of the WTA Board, we hope you, your family and colleagues are and continue to be healthy and safe.
Thank you for your continued support of the WTA.
