Our four panelists range from a Dept. of Defense Security Consultant all the way to the C-Suite. The discussion will be moderated by Jeremy Bauer, Director of Security at Foot Locker, Inc. Jerry Petru, FBCS, CITP, CISSP
Security Consultant – Sirius Computer Solutions

Mr. Petru is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, The Charted Institute for IT. He is innovative, and technically sophisticated professional, offering substantial years of broad-based experience in evaluating large corporate systems as well as in identifying operating systems and software issues between different hardware platforms. Today Jerry is a Security Consultant (CISSP) at Sirius Computer Solutions. Powered with a comprehensive background in development and implementation he has authored more than forty-four different courses based on AIX, Security, Linux, Networking, SAN and Virtualization technologies teaching to an audience of thousands around the world for the past twenty years. Equipped with a proven track record of success in designing and implementing system security and control policies, high availability, disaster recovery; along with the long-range strategic plans for Fortune 100 Companies. Mr. Petru is armed with stellar qualifications in all facets of security lifecycle, from initial analysis and conceptual design to implementation, quality review, and enhancement to optimize operational efficiencies that improve business and IT operations.

 

Todd Heinz, PMP, CBRA, CBRM, CBRITP, CSM
Director – Information Security Practice – Heartland Business Systems

Todd is the Director of the Information Security Practice at Heartland Business Systems. His team provides expertise and solutions in the area of Information and Cyber Security, Risk Management, Compliance, and Business Continuity. He is a certified Business Continuity Auditor and Project Management Professional.

During his 30+ year career, Todd has been a business owner of a web development and analytics company, head of operations for a defense contractor, and VP of an information technology company. He was also a Military Officer, serving 10 years in the Army as a Nuclear Weapons Technician and Airborne Ranger.

Prior to leading the Information Security Practice, Todd led the Project Management Office (PMO) at Heartland. He has served customers extensively in the manufacturing, IT, health, education, defense, and publishing industries. Todd excels at building and leading technical teams, developing strategic visions, and executing operational excellence.

 

Don Bray, CISSP, CISA, CISM and CCBTO
CIO – WaterStone Bank

Don is currently the Chief Information Officer for WaterStone Bank and the President/Owner of Traenáil, LLC. With over 28 years of experience as a professional or executive manager and security officer in Information Technology environment(s), he has effectively navigated the regulatory and compliance challenges of the financial industry such as Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA and PCI. Don has focused much of his career on employee and customer awareness regarding Information Security and prevention. His company, Traenáil, is a hosted, rewards-based training solution for topics such a Security Awareness, PCI, HIPPA and others. He holds several IT and Security related certifications including: CISSP, CISA, CISM and CCBTO.

When he’s not wearing his IT hat, Don is also a local musician building and repairing guitars and tube amplifiers as part of his side company, Breja Tone Works.
