It will cover a mix of the tried and true standard practices that need to not be forgotten as teams prepare for AI security,  as well as what is on the forefront with AI and what new cybersecurity technology needs to be implemented.

Moderator:

Jason Thelen, CIO, Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c.

Jason Thelen is Reinhart’s Chief Information Officer. With his in-depth understanding of enterprise service delivery, he provides leadership to the Application, Technical and End-User Service teams. He ensures the successful delivery of technology through effective project execution and implementation of strategic road maps.

Jason is responsible for providing technical guidance to the firm’s information systems security and compliance. Above all he is committed to maintaining the highest technical standards across the firm while delivering excellence in client service.

Jason enjoys being outdoors, gardening and living in the Lake Country area with his wife Sarah and their three children.

Adam Gruszcynski, Information Technology Director, Potawatomi Casino Hotel

Information Technology Director, Adam Gruszcynski, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT Department for Potawatomi Casino Hotel while ensuring all of the technology needs, whether current or future, of the organization are met.

Adam joined Potawatomi Casino Hotel in 2008. During his time at PCH, Adam has gained an abundance of experience by taking on various roles including IT Security Manager, Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Lead Network Administrator, Network Administrator, and Application Administrator. Prior to PCH, Adam was Network Engineer at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel where he began his career as Help Desk Intern. Adam is a graduate of Milwaukee Area Technical College.

As an engaged leader of the Potawatomi Casino Hotel team, Adam is passionate about inspiring more people to explore career opportunities at PCH – within the Information Technology department and beyond – so they too can experience the great workplace that PCH truly is.

Adam is also a Steering Committee Member of Tribal-ISAC.  Tribal-ISAC is a national organization that brings together Native American owned/operated businesses to share information and experiences to strengthen cybersecurity programs within these organizations. In his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, watching All Elite Wrestling, and reading comic books (DC is better than Marvel).

 

Cody Florek, Director of Information Security Operations, Sentry Insurance

Cody is the Director of Security Operations for Sentry Insurance and has been in information security for 15 years. Starting in the healthcare industry and eventually moved into consulting. Pivoting focus on healthcare to threat and risk, Cody became a manager for Rapid7 where he grew product consulting in vulnerability management and application security. Wanting to get back in the drivers seat, he joined Sentry in 2019 and focuses his energy on the Security Operations Center, Threat Intel, Red Teaming, AppSec, IAM, Engineering, and Vulnerability Management.

 

 

 

Gaurav Sanghvan, Security Architect at West Bend Insurance Company

Gaurav has nearly two decades of expertise in the field of Information Security. He has provided thought leadership across various industries and security domains.

With a fervent interest in application and cloud security, Gaurav has been a trusted advisor for leading insurance and health care organizations throughout Wisconsin. Prior to joining West Bend Insurance Company, Gaurav was part of the AWS security technical field community, where he helped architect secure solutions for local and state governments.
