Leia is a digital native who has spent her career working with enterprise-level companies and community-based organizations. In 2014 she found herself at the intersection of technology and education, working at one of the nation’s first coding bootcamps. She has coached hundreds of individuals on the path to full-time employment and finds joy in witnessing people fulfill their potential.

2:15pm – Employ MKE – Our second speaker will be James Haley from Employ Milwaukee Workforce Development.  James is the Program Analyst and TechHire Placement Manager for Employ Milwaukee. James is passionate about IT and spent 8 years in corporate America leading large scale IT deployments. After much consideration, he made a leap into the nonprofit sector two years ago where he has mentored and placed IT students. In this small amount of time, he has also made numerous organizational process improvements which decreased rework and opened up additional grant funding. James loves watching lives being forever changed when they push themselves beyond their comfort zone in our TechHire program!

What James will discuss:

  • Regional talent needs
  • Employ Milwaukee – Who we are
  • TechHire – What we do, Talent Pool available, and Employer benefits
