Ethical AI: Where do we start?

Sarah Alt is the founder and CEO of the Ethical AI Consortium, a non-profit membership organization of industry partners, institutions of higher education, and professionals who are dedicated to the awareness of ethical and responsible use of advanced algorithms, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence. The EAIC supports the development and recognition of ethical AI leadership in organizations, government, education, and research. With over 20 years of bringing technology to industry, Sarah continues her mission for a more explainable future. She holds an MBA in global management and is a certified Inclusive Leadership Professional. Sarah has contributed to ethical guidelines and standards currently in development with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, European Commission’s AI Alliance, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. In January, the EAIC launches its Ethical AI Professional and Ethical AI Assessor certificate programs for upskilling and reskilling talent working alongside AI.
