Join the WTA to hear from security leaders who are charged with protecting consumer’s personal data. You will hear perspectives from the Associated Bank Baird, Microsoft, and others. This programming will be moderated by Andy Jaw, Senior Security Technical Specialist at Microsoft and podcast host at Blue Security Podcast.

Panelists to include:

Kevin Anderson:  Cyber Defense Center Manager, Associated Bank

As Kevin joined Associated Bank in 2014 and is currently the Cyber Defense Center Manager. Kevin leads a division of cyber-security professionals that work in security monitoring, incident response, forensics, intrusion hunting, threat intelligence, ethical hacking, and vulnerability management. Leveraging past experiences within the insurance, energy, and financial sectors, he assists in deploying, fine-tuning and operating security monitoring, red teaming, and response operations for Associated Bank.

Devan D’Silva:  Identity & Access Management Manager, Vice President, Baird

Devan D’Silva has been with Baird for 8.5 years working within IT as a business analyst and more recently in Risk Management – Information Security as the Manager of Identity & Access Management (IAM). She began this role three years ago and was tasked with starting an IAM Program from scratch and making it come to life at Baird. This role led her to create awareness around Identity & Access Management, create a sound strategy and standards and implement an IGA platform for Baird.

 

Cody Florek:  Security Operations Manager, Sentry 

Cody is the Senior Manager of Security Operations for Sentry Insurance and has been in information security for 14 years. Starting in the healthcare industry and eventually moved into consulting. Pivoting focus on healthcare to threat and risk, Cody became a manager for Rapid7 where he grew product consulting in vulnerability management and application security. Wanting to get back in the drivers seat, he joined Sentry in 2019 and focuses his energy on the Security Operations Center, Threat Intel, Red Teaming, AppSec, and Vulnerability Management

Andy Jaw:  Senior Security Technical Specialist, Microsoft

Andy has been in the information security industry for over 8 years and held various roles from security operations, analyst, engineer, and architect at companies like Trek, Exact Sciences, and most recently, Microsoft. Andy served 10 years in the Air Force and deployed to Afghanistan as a civil engineering officer and led the emergency management unit.

Andy currently works as a security technical specialist focused on consulting, architecture, and deployment of security solutions to help secure Microsoft’s customers. As a veteran and former law enforcement officer, Andy has a unique perspective to help organizations have a wholistic view of information from physical security, defense, and incident response.

Andy holds a Masters degree in Information Assurance and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. He has various certifications for Microsoft Security, Identity, Security+, and DoD Program Management.
