Nate Gardner, Associate Director, Cybersecurity Engineering, Exact Sciences

Nate Gardner, CISSP is a cyber security professional with 12 years of experience in the engineering and life sciences industries. He is currently the Associate Director of Cybersecurity Engineering at Exact Sciences, where he oversees the design and implementation of security solutions for the company’s systems. He also leads the security awareness and education programs for the company’s employees.

 

 

 

 

Nicole McCarthy,  Director of Innovation & Venture Strategy, World Business Chicago

Nicole serves as Director of Innovation & Venture Strategy at World Business Chicago where her team strives to place equity at the forefront of Chicago’s tech ecosystem by developing programs that connect entrepreneurs with resources to help them scale and grow.

Previously she taught English as a Foreign Language in Santiago, Chile, co-ran her own photography business, and developed leadership initiatives for cultural exchange non-profits.

Nicole holds a degree in Sociology and Spanish from Augustana College. She is the Co-Chair of The Gray Matter Experience’s Associate Board and sits on the Chicago Programming Board of StartOut, a non-profit that empowers LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs.
